When you create an account we collect your name, email, and password (hashed). We also store your learning progress (roadmaps, quiz results, checklists) so you can pick up where you left off. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To sync your progress across devices
- To send password reset emails when you request them
- To respond to your contact form submissions
- To send newsletter content only if you opted in
3. Cookies
We use a single httpOnly authentication cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies. If Google Analytics is enabled, it may set its own cookies — see Google's policy for details.
4. Data security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Data is transmitted over HTTPS in production and stored in MongoDB Atlas. We follow industry best practices but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
5. Third-party services
We may use third-party services such as MongoDB Atlas, Google Analytics, and Vercel. These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of data.
6. Your rights
You can update your profile or delete your account at any time from your Dashboard. On deletion, all personal data is removed from our database.
7. Children's privacy
Our Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
