Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide analytics information, and remember your preferences. Cookies can be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (remain until they expire or you delete them).

02

Cookies We Use

We use a minimal set of cookies to operate the Service:

  • Authentication Cookie (session token) — Essential, httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict. This keeps you signed in to your account. It contains only a session identifier, not personal data. Expires when you log out or after 7 days of inactivity.
  • _ga (Google Analytics) — Performance cookie set by Google Analytics (GA4) to distinguish unique users. Contains a randomly generated client ID. Expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_* (Google Analytics) — Performance cookie used to maintain session state in GA4. Expires after 2 years.
03

Essential Cookies

Our authentication cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function for logged-in users. Without it, you would need to log in on every page load. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. If you are not logged in, no essential cookies are set.

04

Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site — which pages are popular, where users come from, and how long they stay. This helps us improve content and fix issues. GA4 cookies are first-party (set by our domain, not a third-party domain). IP anonymization is enabled, meaning Google never sees your full IP address. We do not use GA4's advertising features, remarketing, or demographics reporting. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.

05

No Advertising or Tracking Cookies

We do NOT use any advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers. Your browsing activity on our site is never used to serve you targeted ads elsewhere on the internet.

06

Third-Party Cookies

Beyond Google Analytics, no third-party service sets cookies through our site. If we embed external content in the future (such as YouTube videos or CodeSandbox), those providers may set their own cookies. We will update this policy if that changes. External links to third-party websites are not covered by our cookie policy — please review the cookie policies of those sites.

07

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
  • You can also install browser extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger to block analytics cookies.
  • Note: Blocking the authentication cookie will prevent you from staying logged in.
08

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT. We respect DNT signals to the extent possible — if we detect a DNT header, Google Analytics will not be loaded for that session. However, this behavior depends on our analytics implementation and may vary.

09

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a banner on the website.
